For most US pilgrims, the biggest decision is the hotel. What matters most is the walking distance to Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi, especially for older family members. Prices are per person and depend on how many people share a room:
Families usually book quad or triple rooms. Couples usually book double. If you want a Kaaba-view or Haram-view room, see our luxury Umrah packages.
US passport holders are eligible for Saudi Arabia's online tourist eVisa, which can be used for Umrah outside the Hajj season. Since July 2023, US permanent residents (green card holders) have also been eligible for the tourist eVisa, even if their passport is from another country (Fragomen summary).
Saudi visa rules change. Our team checks the current requirements for your passport before you book, and you can confirm on the official Saudi eVisa website.
Most Umrah trips from the US fly into Jeddah (JED) or Madinah (MED). Many itineraries connect through a hub in the Gulf, Türkiye or Europe. Flight times, routings and fares depend on your nearest airport and your dates, so we confirm the airline and departure airport with you rather than listing fixed routes. If your package does not include flights, we can quote them separately; see our flights page.

Yes. A visa lets you enter Saudi Arabia, but you also need an Umrah permit booked through the official Nusuk app before performing Umrah.
Our Group Umrah packages include round-trip flights with Qatar Airways. Flights are not listed on our Premium and Luxury packages, and we can quote them from your nearest airport separately.
