Canadian passport holders can apply for Saudi Arabia's online tourist eVisa, which can be used for Umrah outside the Hajj season. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from your arrival date. You also need an Umrah permit from the official Nusuk app before performing Umrah.
If you live in Canada but hold another country's passport, your visa options depend on that passport. Saudi Arabia's 2023 eVisa expansion covers permanent residents of the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Canadian permanent residence is not on that list (Fragomen summary). Tell us your nationality when you enquire and we will check which route applies to you.
Saudi visa rules change. Always confirm current requirements on the official Saudi eVisa website before paying for travel.
Umrah flights from Canada usually connect through a hub in the Gulf, Türkiye or Europe to Jeddah or Madinah. Our flights page shows example fares from Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. Fares change daily, so we quote current prices for your dates. On land-only packages, we can add flights to your quote.
Many Canadian travelers break the long journey with a few nights in Dubai, Istanbul, Cairo or Casablanca. Our Umrah and holiday packages include a 5-star hotel with breakfast and airport transfers for 1, 3 or 5 nights.

It depends on your passport. Saudi Arabia's 2023 eVisa expansion covers permanent residents of the US, UK and EU, not Canada, so PR holders on another passport should tell us their nationality and we will check the right route.
Our Group Umrah packages include round-trip flights with Qatar Airways, and we confirm the departure airport when you book. Flights are not listed on our Premium and Luxury packages, and we can quote them from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary or your nearest airport.
As early as you can. School-holiday dates are popular, and hotels near the Haram fill first. Several months ahead is a good rule.
Yes. You need an Umrah permit from the official Nusuk app before performing Umrah, even with a valid visa.
